With 15 years of experience, Dan is an in-demand and respected colourist who has collaborated with many of the world's leading cinematographers and directors across film, music videos, and commercial projects. He has a passion for grading celluloid film which began back in Ireland when watching back the 35mm print of his first DI in 2007. Grading film has become a speciality ever since. After moving to London Dan progressed quickly, rising to the rank of Senior Colourist at Smoke and Mirrors, and moved on to establish the grading department at Coffee&TV. Dan's expertise in grading 35mm and 16mm film has led to him being requested globally for film-based projects. Career highlights have been working with directors Yorgos Lanthimos, Anton Corbijn, Joseph Kahn and Cinematographers Stephen Murphy BSC/ISC, Henry Braham BSC, Christopher Probst ASC, Tim Maurice-Jones BSC and Daniel Landin BSC.

Dan has spoken about his colour grading work with a focus on his creative look development at conferences in LA, Las Vegas, London, Amsterdam, and Beijing.

Now Senior Colourist at Soho boutique facility X2X Creative, part of the X2X Media Group, Dan's deep knowledge of working with film and being on the bleeding edge of colour workflow are the perfect combination to bring the best look and feel to any project.
