Michael has a comprehensive understanding of the post production process and how best to make it efficient. His artistry, eye for detail, and ability to solve intricate technical problems make him a key member of our team.


Michael joined X2X Creative in 2017, with extensive experience in conforming and finishing a large number of feature films over the past ten years.


He started his career as a detail-oriented artist at Technicolor, where he was a Digital Intermediate Editor for more than five years. During this time, he accumulated a range of skills including creating stereo 3D workflows, building VFX pull delivery pipelines and being involved in the early days of HDR implementation.


Michael worked his way up rapidly from a runner to the IO department, through to Editorial where he brought his technical and creative expertise to a number of different projects, including Black Mirror, T2 Trainspotting, In the Heart of the Sea and many more.


An expert in FilmLight packages, Michael enjoys working with filmmakers to make subtle but significant adjustments to their work just before the final colour grading phase. He works tirelessly with clients until their vision is realised. His talents have been used on a number of different projects, including; Breathe, The Ritual, Walk Like a Panther, Mowgli, A Private War & Wounds.


In his spare time Michael is a video game enthusiast, enjoying the interactive nature of the medium, and also the similarities it has with film and TV.
